About Mrs. Terry
Hello first grade parents! My name is Mrs. Terry, and I am pleased to be your child's first grade teacher. I graduated for Houston Baptist University (Go Huskies!!) with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Multidisciplinary Studies, and I am certified to teach Early Childhood-6th grade. I believe education is very important because as an educator my hope is to instill a love of learning while enjoying my passion for learning as well.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my three beautiful children, family, and friends. I also enjoy doing art, shopping, scrapbooking, and traveling. I hope to one day travel around the world!

Home Work Policy

Your child will recieve a homework sheet each Monday in the back pocket of their homework folder.

Homework sheet is due Friday mornings.

Included in your child's homework folder are tips and best practices to help develop a strong reader when they read at home.

In the homework folder there is a list of sight words and word study words. Every week students are responsible for learning five words containing a pattern and five sight words. Please practice with your child at home.
